Job description

We are looking for a receptionist to join our friendly, village GP practice team to cover maternity leave.

The job involves providing a service to patients at the reception desk and on the telephone, liaising with GPs, Nurses and other practice staff, helping to manage the appointment system and maintain patient medical records.

The role is a varied and busy one that would suit a cheerful multi-tasker!

Experience of working in a GP practice/healthcare setting and/or customer services would be an advantage, but full training is available for the right candidate.

The job hours are approximately 21 per week and may require 1 full day as well as mornings and afternoons (finishing at 6pm). There can occasionally be additional hours to cover holidays or sickness.

The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to providing excellent care to our patients.

Jubilee Field Surgery is situated in the village of Yatton Keynell, a couple of miles west of Chippenham.
