Hand Picked Hotels is seeking a Receptionist for Buxted Park Hotel. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 on a rota including weekends, in a luxurious setting near Buxted, East Sussex. Salary starts at £13.50 per hour plus service charge and benefits.

Live-in accommodation may be available at a weekly charge; extensive training and career development are provided. You will welcome guests, manage front desk tasks, and deliver personalised service to ensure memorable stays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in Front office as a Receptionist or similar role in a luxury four or five star hotel.
• Proficient computer skills, able to confidently navigate hotel reservation systems and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Opera is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create unforgettable moments for guests from arrival, helping them feel welcomed and valued.
• Deliver personalised experiences and maintain consistency in service excellence.
• Work closely with the Front Office team to ensure smooth, efficient guest handling and check-in/out.
