Job description

Location: Sale, M33 7JR
Dates: Handover from Wednesday 7th August, cover from Sunday 11th August for 1 week
Preferred Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm (flexible options available)


About the Role

We’re seeking a friendly, reliable, and highly organised Receptionist to provide temporary holiday cover at our clients Sale-based office. This is a key front-of-house role, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and a warm welcome for all visitors and callers.
The successful candidate will begin with a handover period starting 7th August, followed by full cover from 11th August for one week.

Working Hours

Reception is busiest early in the day, so our preferred hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm. However, we’re happy to consider alternative schedules:

  • 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • 8:30am – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities
  • • Provide visitor access and directions as required, advise of Envoy and Car registration requirements, issue and collect visitor passes
    • Accept deliveries and arrange couriers
    • Point of contact for Facilities Manager
    • Use various computer packages – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • • Arrange Meeting Room bookings for wider business. Prioritise facilities and manage demand for requirement
    • Sending out internal communications to all office staff
    • Meeting Room presentation and maintenance
    • To assist the Office with any additional admin support necessary
    • Arranging travel and accommodation bookings
    • Printing and checking documents before obtaining approval, scanning and issuing for processing once authorised
    • Liaise regarding hospitality for meetings

About You
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident using phones, email, and basic office software
  • Professional, punctual, and proactive
