Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Receptionist to join our Harrods branch located in Central London. The role involves assisting with the reception of our store in a helpful, professional, and efficient manner, aligned with the company’s values, mission, and ethos.

ADAM Grooming Atelier is an upscale male grooming brand founded in the UK in 2015. The brand has experienced significant growth, now operating 13 stores across prestigious London areas, including Mayfair, The Shard, and Canary Wharf, as well as a store in NYC. Recently, we added a concession within London’s renowned Harrods department store.

Who are we looking for :

The ideal candidate should demonstrate initiative and independence, possess strong communication skills (both written and spoken), and have good organisational abilities. They should be capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with attention to detail and excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  1. Being the first point of contact for our customers at the store.
  2. Supporting day-to-day store operations.
  3. Greeting customers and offering refreshments.
  4. Managing bookings and payments.
  5. Monitoring stock levels and alerting the Store Manager to potential non-recoverable stock write-offs.
Skills and qualities required:
  • Excellent communication skills at all times.
  • Well-organised with attention to detail, able to prioritise and remain calm under pressure.
  • Friendly, approachable, flexible, and a team player.
  • Capable of working independently with guidance when needed.
  • Proactive, positive, enthusiastic, with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Smart appearance and confident demeanor.
  • Previous receptionist experience is desirable.
