Position: Receptionist – Hair & Beauty

Salary: £21,358 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

Join our vibrant Hair and Beauty department as a friendly and professional Receptionist. You'll be the first point of contact for clients, students, and staff—managing salon bookings, supporting daily operations, and ensuring a welcoming front-of-house experience.

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and customer service skills, organized with strong IT and admin abilities. Experience in a reception or salon environment is a bonus, but you must be a team player who thrives in a busy, creative setting.

Basic Welsh language skills (or willingness to undertake training) are desirable. Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will not be treated less favourably than applications submitted in English.

The College is committed to safeguarding, ensuring the safety and welfare of children and young people. Employment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) if appropriate.

Successful candidates will be expected to pay for the Enhanced Disclosure and registration with the EWC.

Lecturing posts require a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) or willingness to attain one within a specified period. This will be a requirement under your employment contract and EWC registration.
