Job Description:

Grantham Meres Leisure Centre – 24hrs per week on a rota pattern covering mornings. evenings and weekend shifts.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our fantastic team!

You will often be the first team member that customers interact with, so it is essential that you are welcoming and demonstrate a positive attitude, while being proactive in dealing with queries yourself and working closely with the wider team.

Receptionist responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Being warm and welcoming and promoting the best possible image of LeisureSK by the level of service you provide at reception.
  • Having good communication etiquette and answering various lines of enquiry such as email and phone.
  • To actively sell a wide range of activities and products from annual fitness memberships to a pair of swimming goggles.
  • To conduct all matters in line with LeisureSK policies and procedures and be fully acquainted with them.
  • To ensure retail displays are fully stocked and appropriately merchandised.
  • Maintain the general appearance of the reception area, including tidiness and presentation of the reception desk itself.
  • To carry out other tasks appropriate to the position of receptionists, as requested by a member of the management team.
