Job description

Our client is a leading high growth Tech company based in Shoreditch. They are seeking a professional and friendly receptionist to join their team. They are looking for someone who is organized, efficient, and personable, with excellent communication skills.

This is a part time position: 14:00 - 18:00, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only. 12 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  1. Answer and direct incoming calls to appropriate departments or individuals
  2. Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  3. Standard email/slack response to queries
  4. Looking after the reception desk and be the first point of contact for visitors
  5. Assisting facilities manager with daily running of the office, stocking up consumables, accepting deliveries, etc.
  6. Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments and meetings
  7. Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, etc.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills
  4. Proficient in Slack messaging to answer messages
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
