Receptionist (Endoscopy)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised Receptionist to join our busy Endoscopy Department. You will be responsible for providing an effective service within the Endoscopy team, dealing directly with patients in the Department and over the phone.
Stretching across Northern, Eastern and Mid Devon, we have a workforce of over 15,000 staff, making us the largest employer in Devon. Our core services cover more than 2,000 square miles and serve more than 615,000 people.
We deliver emergency, specialist and general medical services through North Devon District Hospital and the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (Wonford), with services across community settings and primary care. The Endoscopy unit sits within the Medical Division and currently provides 2 Endoscopy rooms with 22 sessions over 6 days, including sessions run by Respiratory Medicine, Urology and Bowel Screening lists. It provides both inpatient and outpatient services for Endoscopic procedures, including:
The successful candidate must have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to multitask, and work well in a team. Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, prioritising workload, and ensuring patient appointments adhere to policy.
