The Emergency Department/Urgent Care has a 24-hour reception handling all patient arrivals via GP surgeries, Ambulance, or self-referral.
We have a vacancy for a receptionist working across 7 days, offering a supportive environment within an enthusiastic team of admin and medical staff. The role involves working at Royal Blackburn Hospital, Burnley Urgent Care Centre, and Accrington Minor Injuries Unit.
The successful candidate will provide customer-oriented reception services, accurately input and update patient details, and liaise professionally with patients, relatives, and healthcare staff. Flexibility to cover sickness, absences, and bank holidays is required, with shift times adapting to service needs.
