One of Volvo’s well-known retailers based in Huddersfield, Ray Chapman Motors, has an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist/ Dealership Host to join their team. The environment boasts state-of-the-art facilities, equipment, and workshop technology.

Salary: £26,984 per annum

Working hours: Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm, alternating weekly with 8.30am - 5.30pm.

About this opportunity…

The Receptionist/Dealership Host will greet visitors, ascertain their requirements, and enhance the dealership's reputation by maintaining effective contact throughout their visit. Previous front-of-house, reception, or hospitality experience is essential.

  • Answer all incoming phone calls and direct them to relevant departments.
  • Meet and greet visitors, identify their needs, and pass them to relevant staff.
  • Be based at the host station but always approach visitors proactively.
  • Assist with administrative tasks for Sales and Aftersales, e.g., data cleansing, diary management, job cards, Feefo.
  • Provide secretarial support as needed, including typing, spreadsheets, photocopying, etc.

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; well-presented.
  • Calm, organized, and able to solve problems effectively.
  • Proficient with PC, Microsoft Office, and web applications.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
