Position Summary

Process a wide range of registration functions involving multiple programs, policies, and practices related to patient encounters and provider scheduling. The Receptionist - Centralized Scheduling is accountable to the Registration Manager for the accuracy of registration processes as they relate to the revenue cycle and is directly responsible to the Manager - Centralized Scheduling for daily registration operations, while also being accountable to the Director of Communications for department objectives.

Responsibilities
  1. Accurately handle 60-100 calls per day, including incoming and outgoing volume.
  2. Maintain department standard audit error rate.
  3. Keep 'not ready' time at 25% or less (e.g., 6 hours for an 8-hour shift).
  4. Adhere to Holzer attendance policy.
  5. Accurately schedule for assigned queue while delivering high-quality customer service.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a service-related field preferred.
