A healthcare provider in Reading is seeking a full-time Band 2 Receptionist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and experience in a reception or administrative role. Duties include welcoming patients, managing patient files, and facilitating follow-up appointments. The position requires working shifts including weekends, emphasizing the commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Band 2 Receptionist (CAT 2 Ophthalmology)
This is a full-time post for 37.5 hours per week.
PLEASE NOTE: The post will include working shifts between 8am and 8pm and Weekend working.

You should have the ability to perform complex administrative functions and will be responsible for receiving patients and visitors attending outpatient clinics taking ownership of escalated administrative issues where appropriate.
The receptionist works in close partnership with medical, nursing and secretarial staff to ensure the smooth running of the outpatients department.
