Are you an outgoing and organised individual looking for an exciting opportunity in a school environment? Whitleigh Primary School is seeking a dedicated Receptionist/Administrative Assistant (Grade C) to join our dynamic team.

Job Purpose: As the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and pupils, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You will play a crucial role in maintaining an efficient reception area while providing administrative support to various school functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist visitors, sign in latecomers, and manage deliveries with a welcoming manner. Handle incoming telephone enquiries professionally and direct calls accordingly. Monitor emails and messages, responding promptly and politely to ensure efficient communication. Provide support with Helpdesk reporting and maintain effective communication with parents. Conduct daily monitoring of registers, follow up on absences, and assist with attendance-related tasks. Coordinate with the Educational Welfare Officer to address attendance matters and generate reports. Manage dinner numbers, debts, and organise related correspondence efficiently. Process Free School Meal applications and maintain accurate records. Coordinate transportation and logistics for school trips, including communication with parents. Monitor printer toner usage, arrange replacements, and report any issues promptly. Liaise with external visitors to ensure smooth operations. Assist with meeting notes and coordinate waste disposal in compliance with regulations. Requirements:

Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and or Google Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.
