- Greeting clients and visitors warmly while maintaining a professional demeanour.
- Managing incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.
- Maintaining the reception area to ensure it is tidy and welcoming at all times.
- Coordinating meeting room bookings and ensuring they are set up appropriately.
- Providing administrative support to the secretarial and business support team as needed.
- Handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries promptly.
- Updating client records and internal databases with attention to detail.
- Assisting with ad-hoc duties to support the smooth operation of the office.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Receptionist should have:
- Previous experience in a similar front-of-house or administrative role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and colleagues.
- A professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to work.
