Job summary

Vitality in Stockport is seeking a Receptionist to deliver a world-class front of house service. Reports to the Assistant Facilities Manager and will be based in the Vitality Stockport Office, with a typical pattern of 3 days per week in the office and a 21-hour schedule (Mon-Wed).

• Welcomes visitors and colleagues, provides a professional, courteous and welcoming front-of-house experience.
• Upholds security procedures including card entry and car park access.
• Answers incoming calls and directs them to appropriate destinations to meet service SLAs.
• Supports evacuation procedures and communicates emergency procedures on arrival.

Working Pattern -

3 days per week in the Vitality Stockport Office. Full time, 21 hours per week. Monday- Wednesday.

What this role is all about:

The Receptionist will report to the Assistant Facilities Manager and Provide a world class front of house service when dealing with visitors and colleagues

Key Actions

• Visitors welcomed and administered to ensure their introduction to the company is in keeping with a ‘world class's ethos and best practices.
• Present a professional and courteous welcome to all external visitors to the building in order to create a positive image of the company.
• To uphold company security procedures by utilising security card entry systems.
• Maintenance of the company car parking policy to ensure fair and consistent access to car park spaces, and to uphold security procedures.
• Assistance with Evacuation Procedures to ensure safety of employees.
• Communicate emergency procedures to all visitors and contractors on arrival to the building.
• Providing cover and assisting as required in other areas of the Facilities Team.
• The job holder is required to communicate with employees and managers at all levels up to and including Board members.
• Ad hoc Facilities tasks as required by the manager to support other areas of the department.
• To ensure that local and role specific Treating Customers Fairly requirements are met in line with key outputs.
• Administer the eye care voucher scheme for employees.
• Answer all incoming telephone calls and establish the most appropriate destination ensuring Service Level Agreements are met.

• Authority to prioritise own workload.
• Authority to book taxis on provision of budget codes.
• The job holder is not permitted to leave the reception area unattended without authorisation.
• Flexible in approach and ability to prioritise and manage tasks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience of working in busy reception environment.
