Receptionist


We have a fantastic opportunity for a Receptionist to join us at our office in Retford. Working hours Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • To answer telephone calls in a professional and timely manner and transfer efficiently to the relevant member of staff
  • To maintain an accurate log of callers
  • To always project an enthusiastic and professional image to customers
  • The booking and managing of meeting rooms
  • To acknowledge visitors, check against appointments diary and book in for Health & Safety requirements
  • To handle incoming mail and to ensure all external post is franked and ready for collection
  • To place online orders for stationery & consumables
  • To liaise with Facilities Support Assistant when contractors and workmen will be onsite

Experience:

  • The successful candidate will have previous experience in a customer service role, answering telephones and front office tasks.
  • Good communication and Organisational Skills
  • Multitasking & time-management skills with the ability to priorities tasks
  • Attention to detail/multitasking numerous duties
  • Professional and can-do attitude
  • Ability to be resourceful & proactive when issues arise
