A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Bank Receptionist for their Devon Out of Hours service. This part-time role requires flexibility and involves managing services, supporting staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care. Ideal candidates will have prior receptionist experience and strong problem-solving skills.
We are looking for a Bank Receptionist to join our growing team at the Devon Out of Hours (OOH) service on a part-time basis across Out of Hours shifts.
The Devon OOH service provides advice, information, and treatment for NHS patients who become unwell during the out-of-hours period when their own GP surgery is closed.
The OOH service operates across various locations within Devon, so occasional travel will be required. However, your main base will be in our office in Plymouth.
Salary ranges from £12.21 to £18.30 depending on the shift.

In this role, you'll be supporting the Operations Manager in managing Practice Plus Group’s services throughout Devon OOH, primarily at our Plymouth sites.
You will ensure the delivery of a high-quality service for Practice Plus Group patients by utilizing resources effectively and monitoring and evaluating the performance of operational staff through regular audits.
Assist with the recruitment, selection, and training of new operational staff, and provide the Operations Manager with reports as needed.
This is a bank role offering flexibility. As an OOH service, you will be required to work unsociable hours.
