Receptionist (Front of House)
Location: Oxford, OX2

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30-17:30

About this role
This role supports the centre manager as front of house, managing the day-to-day operations of an established business centre in Oxford. It involves delivering excellent customer service to centre users both in person, on the phone, and via digital communications.
Key duties
- Perform general reception duties, including administration, business support, billing, and invoicing.
- Conduct viewings for potential clients, asking questions to assist the sales team with next steps.
- Ensure the site is safe and compliant, identifying issues and risks for the general manager.
- Provide high-level customer service, answering queries from users.
- Maintain centre standards at the highest level.
- Perform pre-event inspections of meeting rooms and show offices.
- Oversee new customer move-ins, ensuring smooth processes within expectations.
- Manage maintenance issues and uphold centre standards.
- Maintain accident logs and report incidents in line with legislation.
- Coordinate contractors during maintenance work.
- Stay informed about GDPR and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
Essential qualities
- Excellent customer service skills and experience.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
- Confident, professional, and friendly telephone manner.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Qualifications
- Minimum grade 'C' GCSE in English and Maths or relevant experience.
