Job description

We develop and run villages with the wow factor that enhance the lives of our owners, their families, and their friends. Through our two brands, Mayfield Villages and Audley Villages, we offer stylish apartments and houses complete with top facilities, including bistros, bars, health clubs, and swimming pools. We also provide exceptional service throughout. Additionally, our dedicated care teams support owners and the local community to help them remain independent. It's retirement, but not as the UK has known it.

As our Receptionist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to all Audley customers. This role is highly customer-focused and involves regular, diverse communication with colleagues and owners.

The focus is on delivering warm and friendly service and setting a great example for our empathetic and efficient team. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in creating and running regular hospitality events at the village.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in taking reservations and handling business enquiries courteously and friendly.
  • Ability to effectively manage and help resolve complaints or issues.
  • Ability to delegate duties to junior colleagues and support their development.
  • Awareness of all planned events and the ability to advise others.
  • Good knowledge of the local area and offsite facilities.
  • Hands-on approach and flexibility with daily duties and shift patterns.
  • Punctuality and team spirit.
  • Warm, professional, and empathetic demeanor.
