A local government organization is seeking a receptionist to provide cover for the full-time position at Wyre Forest House. The role involves handling visitors and taking payments on behalf of the Council. Ideal candidates should have a good understanding of administrative processes and experience in customer service. Flexibility is required, with an annual commitment of 300 hours. This role offers an opportunity to work in an engaging environment supporting the community.
The Facilities and Asset Management team delivers front line customer services for the Council. We are looking for a receptionist to provide cover for the full-time receptionist at Wyre Forest House, as and when required. The post involves the handling of all visitors to Wyre Forest House to assist in their purpose for the visit. You will be trained for taking payments and issuing receipts on behalf of all Council Directorates and will also be required to undertake appropriate administrative duties during quiet periods of visitor demands.
You will require:
An NVQ level 3 in customer service or equivalent would be advantageous.
This position is for 300 hours per annum, flexibility will be required to provide cover as and when required, between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday-Friday.
