Job description

Title: Receptionist

Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time (Monday – Friday)

Location: Drumnadrochit

Salary: £12.21

Our client is looking to appoint a Receptionist on a full time, permanent basis to be based in Drumnadrochit. This is a full time role, Monday – Friday.

Summary:
This is a key role within the business as first point of contact for all customers and additional contacts, requiring a polite and professional manner and the ability to communicate effectively by telephone and in person. Duties include:

Dealing with a range of enquiries from customers and additional contacts by telephone, email and in person.
Taking messages and passing on calls to the appropriate department.
Greeting and assisting visitors, updating the visitor log.
Updating and maintaining accurate customer/visitor records.
Diary management and booking appointments.
Maintain a positive attitude and friendly manner in dealing with all contacts.
Respond to all queries and requests.
Ensure the reception area is kept clean and tidy.
Replenishing consumables, magazines, refreshments etc.
Dealing with post and emails.
Scanning, photocopying and filing.
Data entry.

Person Specification:
Well presented and articulate with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Polite and professional telephone manner.
Well organised and efficient.
Strong customer service skills.
Capable of learning new skills and systems with ease.
