About the role
Reporting to the Administration and Support Services Manager, you will provide administrative and reception support to our team at Royston Hospital.
You will perform an efficient, safe and well-managed service for our specialists and their patients, especially:

  • Ensure that our patients are made to feel welcome and comfortable
  • Create reports, invoices and receipts
  • Monitor patient accounts and records
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails

This is a casual position and is located at Royston Hospital in Hawkes Bay.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you
As the Receptionist, you will have proven experience in the medical administration field. You will communicate and relate to all people in a professional, respectful and efficient manner. As well as demonstrate confidential handling of all patient information, you will need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and telephone manner
  • Proficient in Microsoftapplications and hospital based electronic systems
  • Work effectively to meet deadlines
  • Offer a degree of flexibility with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Be a willing, positive, contributing and adaptable member of the team
