Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Receptionist for the Wandsworth Common Care Home in London. You will be the first point of contact, delivering high-quality customer service and handling a range of administrative duties.

You will join a close-knit team, uphold our values of care and respect, and support residents and staff with professional, friendly service. DBS check funded by Avery; UK work eligibility required.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Positive, friendly and welcoming attitude.
  • Previous exposure to problem-solving and client complaints.

Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone and respond to enquiries at reception, redirecting calls to relevant staff and recording messages.
  • Complete reception-related administration, maintain databases, and provide administrative assistance as required by the General Manager.
  • Maintain the general tidiness of the reception area and liaise with Housekeeping to ensure standards.

Shift Details: 8:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 20:00. Weekends and all public holidays.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a receptionist will be to offer professional, high-quality customer service as the first point of contact within the home, as well as provide a range of administrative services.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

  • Answering the telephone and responding to enquiries at reception, redirecting calls to relevant staff and recording messages accordingly.
  • Completingreception-related administration,maintainingdatabases,and providing administrativeassistanceas required by the General Manager.
