Receptionist – Part Time

Are you a dynamic and professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills? We are currently seeking a Corporate Receptionist to work on a part time basis as part of a job share team. As the first point of contact for our visitors and clients, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience.

You should be well presented with proven experience and confident to take ownership of this busy and varied role.

Salary - £16,707

Hours – 8.30am – 5.00pm Wednesday – Friday (25.5 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

You will provide a front of house reception service which will include:

Reception
  • Set up and maintain the reception area to meet visitor and tenant expectations
  • Greet all visitors with warmth and professionalism, embodying the personality of the building
  • Efficiently manage couriers, post, and deliveries, ensuring smooth operations
  • Handle inbound phone calls and perform general administrative tasks
  • Submit weekly reports on site activity as required
  • Work as part of a team with the Building Manager and Security
Building
  • Report and mange any building issues and closely liaise with the building manager
  • Manage contractors and ensure any maintenance issues are managed to resolution
  • Efficiently manage access cards and passes effectively to ensure secure and streamlined entry for staff and visitors
  • Ensure vacant office space is kept pristine and support the letting agents who are marketing the space
Tenant Engagement and Support
  • Develop a good understanding of the local area and maintain a local amenities information file
  • Liaise / support the Marketing Representative for the Park who is responsible for introducing concierge and popup events for the business park – which are communicated via a Park App

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience in a front of house reception role in an office environment
  • Marketing experience preferred, but not essential
  • Personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service
  • Self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to easily multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • PC literate and confident using Microsoft Office / Apps / Canva
