Overview

Location: Quarry Leisure Centre, Oswestry SY1 1RU

Job type: Part time & Permanent

Working Hours: 7.75 hours per week covering every Sunday 07:45am – 4:00pm plus casual overtime available.

Salary: Up to £12.21 per hour + Excellent benefits

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers, providing concise information and service related to the facility and its offerings. The role involves high levels of customer interaction face-to-face, via email, and over the telephone. There may be times when you will assist other staff members.

Serco manages these facilities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Trust.

About you

The successful candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering excellent service to centre visitors. Previous experience dealing with customers in a busy environment is preferred, especially any sales experience. You should have:

  • Good communication and customer care skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with maturity and calmness
  • Ability to handle cash and maintain customer records
  • A good telephone manner and confidence with IT systems
  • Customer service qualifications are desirable
