Are you a reliable, adaptable, and friendly Receptionist with a passion for supporting patient care? DHU Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time Receptionist to join our dedicated Primary Care team at Buxton Medical Practice.

What Your Typical Day Looks Like:
- Welcoming and assisting patients in a friendly, professional manner
- Managing incoming calls and messages, including appointment bookings and home visit requests
- Using SystmOne to update and maintain accurate patient records
- Typing outgoing correspondence and data entry tasks
- Supporting the team with general reception duties and daily administrative tasks
- Ensuring the reception and waiting areas are clean, tidy, and ready for colleagues and patients
- Handling patient enquiries with empathy and discretion
- Summarising records and managing filing systems effectively
To Be a Successful Administrator/Receptionist, You'll Need:
Essential
- Previous administration experience
- Good IT literacy, especially with MS Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently
- Self-motivated and adaptable to changing service needs
Desirable:
- Experience in a healthcare or GP practice environment
- Familiarity with EMIS Web and NHS systems
- Full valid driving licence and ability to travel to other DHU bases as needed
