Brentwood County High School is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the welcoming face of the school. This 37-hour per week role runs term-time with inset days and two extra weeks, starting November 2026.
You will handle inquiries, manage front-of-house, maintain student and admissions records, support events, and work with staff to deliver excellent service to pupils, parents and visitors.

£25,128.65 - £26,371.55 actual salary per annum
(Plus £661.42 additional fringe allowance per annum)

Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4.00 pm; Friday 8.00am - 3.30 pm
(30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
40 weeks of the year - term time, inset days plus 2 additional weeks

BCHS is located in the heart of Brentwood, near the town centre, a short distance from the train station, which is 25 minutes from Liverpool Street Station. The school also includes a large sixth form campus and achievements at KS5 have been a key strength at BCHS. Parking is available on-site and there are good transport links by both rail and bus.
