Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced receptionist who is ready to take on additional facilities management responsibilities. You will be highly organized, collaborative, and eager to support the facilities management team in ensuring the smooth operation of the building. Your role will include delivering exemplary tenant and visitor service, creating a positive impression for everyone entering the building. The ideal candidate will be well-presented, experienced, confident, and capable of managing a busy, varied role.

Hours: 8.00am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £31,730

Key Responsibilities

Reception responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the reception area, ensuring it is always well-presented
  • Meet and greet visitors warmly
  • Be the friendly face and 'go-to person' in the building
  • Manage reception sign-in processes
  • Handle deliveries, including couriers and post
  • Develop knowledge of the local area and maintain an amenities file with useful information

The Building

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with tenants, contractors, and the management team
  • Report issues and coordinate with contractors to ensure maintenance is completed, keeping the off-site building manager informed
  • Manage building documentation, service records, and reports
  • Produce weekly reports for key stakeholders

Concierge and Communication

  • Develop and implement concierge services, negotiating offers with local businesses for building occupants
  • Research and produce a monthly e-newsletter
  • Prepare weekly updates for building occupants about news and events

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Experience as a corporate receptionist with additional responsibilities
  • Personable, proactive, confident, and committed to excellent customer service
  • Immaculately presented
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media applications
