Reception Teacher | April 2024

Wayman Education is looking for a Reception teacher in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire from April 2024! This is an opportunity to work within a ‘Good’ primary school in Aylesbury, Southeast England. The school is looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative, topic-based curriculum in a school with exceptional pastoral care.

Responsibilities of a Reception Teacher:

  1. Plan and deliver engaging and effective classes to Reception students based on the National Curriculum.
  2. Provide ongoing feedback and support to Reception students to encourage growth and development.
  3. Create a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  5. Use data to inform teaching decisions and adapt instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  6. Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on Reception student progress.
  7. Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
