Reception Teacher - the role:
As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of teaching to children in their early years. You will create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where each child is encouraged to develop their social, emotional, and academic skills. You will be supported by a fantastic team of teaching assistants and work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure that all children thrive.
Reception Teacher - responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the Reception curriculum.
* Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
* Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to parents and carers.
* Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive school environment.
* Engage with parents and guardians to encourage their involvement in their child's education.
Reception Teacher - requirements:
* UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or on track to achieve by September 2025.
* Experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) during training.
* A passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to create a welcoming and inclusive classroom.
* A strong understanding of child development and EYFS principles.
