Hays Education is currently recruiting for a reliable and adaptable Reception teacher to work at a Primary School in South Gloucestershire. The school is based in Patchway and has a mission to deliver a successful education to all children regardless of their background. They are looking for a teacher who is diverse in their teaching style, which can be applied to any classroom of abilities.

Your new role

This BS34 school is looking for a part-time reception class teacher to start in Term 6 of this academic year on a long-term basis. The role will be 3 days a week, and you will join the Early Years team alongside other Teachers and Teaching Assistants. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering engaging, high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students. Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons within the reception curriculum, creating a safe and welcoming classroom, and supporting each child's development as they enter their first year of primary education.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE)
  • Experience within the last 5 years
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
