Reception Teacher - Amazing Primary School - Dorking

Wayman Education is working with a vibrant and fun primary school based in Dorking seeking a proactive and emotionally intelligent Reception Teacher.

The children are hardworking, caring, inquisitive and imaginative. The staff here aim to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment. We are seeking a primary teacher who can drive attainment and create engaging lessons.

Responsibilities of a Reception Teacher:

• Responsible for the pastoral care of children in Early Years Foundation Stage, promoting teamwork, and creating a conducive learning environment.
• Teach the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, focusing on individual learning targets, strengths, and weaknesses.
• Develop maths skills, including fractions, statistics, and geometry.
• Support children in developing their writing skills by creating stories with plots, characters, and settings.
• Track children's progress and report to parents as needed.

• Located in a residential area of Dorking, with 4 forms per year group.
