Are you passionate about early childhood education and ready to make a difference in a vibrant rural village school? We are thrilled to be working with a primary school who is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their team.

Position: Reception Teacher

Location: Ticehurst

Hours: Full-time (potentially could be part-time

Responsibilities:

  • Implement creative and age-appropriate lesson plans in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Establish clear expectations for behaviour and learning, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Promote a stimulating and supportive learning environment where children are encouraged to achieve their full potential, fostering a love for learning.
  • Foster independence and critical thinking skills through adapted tasks and activities.
  • Share a commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff, teaching assistants, and support professionals to share ideas and resources.

Requirements:

  • Someone who is passionate about early childhood education.
  • Experience teaching Early Years or KS1 children in UK classrooms is preferred.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A current DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to provide two professional references.
  • A positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
