Are you a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher ready to make a difference? Supply Desk is delighted to be working with a fantastic primary school in Amersham, currently seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their team from September 2025!

Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm

The Role:

As a Reception Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in laying the foundation for lifelong learning. You'll create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment where young children feel safe, inspired, and excited to explore.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons tailored to young learners
  • Fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Supporting pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development
  • Collaborating with a dedicated and experienced team
  • Encouraging learning through play, discovery, and exploration
  • Building strong relationships with parents and the wider school community
  • Tracking and assessing pupil progress to support individual development
  • Promoting independence and early social skills

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS, EYTS, or an equivalent teaching qualification (unqualified candidates with a passion for Early Years are welcome to apply!)
  • Experience working in Reception or Early Years settings is highly desirable
  • A love for Early Years education and a child-centred approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player with a proactive and positive mindset
