Position: Reception SEND Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

Are you a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity to work one-on-one with a pupil with ASD? If so, this role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in a child's life and develop your career.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a Reception pupil with SEN.
  • Implement effective communication techniques tailored to the child's needs.
  • Assist the child in daily activities and learning tasks.
  • Support active participation in class and recreational activities.
  • Provide personal care when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Reception SEND Teaching Assistant.
  • Knowledge of PECS and communication strategies.
  • Empathy, patience, and a passion for supporting children with SEN.
  • Ability to work closely with the teaching team and parents.
  • Relevant qualifications in education and training are advantageous.
Additional Information:

Salary: £85-£105 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
