We're looking for a warm and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Reception child in Newham. She has an EHCP, is autistic, and experiences speech and language difficulties. She's a happy, playful little girl who thrives with structure, consistency, and a nurturing approach.

What you'll be doing
  • Working 1:1 in Reception, supporting learning, communication, and social development
  • Using play-based activities in line with EYFS to build confidence and engagement
  • Helping with speech and language development through fun, tailored strategies
  • Supporting her emotional wellbeing and creating a positive, safe space to learn
  • Personal care may be part of the role (to be confirmed)
What we\'re looking for
  • Experience in EYFS and a good understanding of early years learning
  • Knowledge of autism and ways to support children with communication needs
  • A patient, caring, and creative approach to keep young learners engaged
  • Strong communication skills to work with teachers, parents, and therapists
