Job description

We are looking for a SEND teaching assistant with in-education experience for a mainstream primary role starting immediately in Smethwick. This is a new role created to support new children settling into the school system. You will work in the main classroom. Previous experience supporting young people with special educational needs is essential. Experience supporting children who are autistic and non-verbal is highly beneficial.

The school has a strong local reputation, and we are proud to support such a valued institution. You will be supported by a dedicated staff team. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, until July 2026, and pays from £89 per day (PAYE), depending on experience and qualifications.
