Job summary

Brook Lodge Community Primary School is seeking a Reception Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave for 2 days per week from December 2026. The successful applicant will join a supportive team, delivering and assessing the curriculum while working with staff, parents and pupils to drive great progress.

We welcome ECTs with mentorship and CPD support. The school is a one-form entry setting and encourages staff to contribute to extracurricular activities as part of a collaborative learning

Qualifications

• Demonstrates excellence in classroom teaching.
• Ability to collaborate with staff, parents and pupils.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, delivering and assessing the curriculum for the year group.
• Work collaboratively with staff and parents to help pupils progress and achieve outcomes.
• Receive mentoring and CPD support as an ECT or qualified teacher.
