Teach Plus is currently working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Leyton, Waltham Forest, committed to providing high-quality early years education within a nurturing and stimulating environment.The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join their team from September.This is a full-time role, but the school is open to a job share arrangement for the right candidates.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years practitioner who is committed to delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences and supporting children at the very start of their educational journey.The school offers a collaborative team environment, excellent resources, and supportive leadership.

Please note: this position is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

As a Reception Class Teacher, you will be expected to:
➢ Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
➢ Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
➢ Support children's development across the prime and specific areas of learning
➢ Work collaboratively with early years colleagues and teaching assistants
➢ Build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider school community
➢ Use ongoing assessment to track progress and inform next steps in learning

The ideal candidate for this Reception Class Teacher will have:
➢ A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early years pedagogy
➢ Experience teaching in a Reception or Early Years setting
➢ A nurturing approach and passion for supporting young children's development
➢ Excellent communication and classroom management skills
➢ UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS
➢ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
➢ The right to work in the UK
