Job Description

Portico has begun the search for a Reception and Hospitality Host (Operations Host) to join our small team on a 1-year maternity cover contract, based at a Law Firm close to Chancery Lane station.

The friendly welcome from our Operations Host sets the first impression for guests and visitors, along with the service they receive in the office. The role includes meet and greet, onsite hospitality, catering, meeting room setup, and IT troubleshooting.

The Operations Host will proactively handle requests, diligently book rooms, and aim to deliver excellent service.

They will handle enquiries from a diverse guest base, answering queries and requests promptly. Effective communication at all levels and building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners is essential.

Shift pattern: 40 hours/week, shifts between 7am and 7pm, with occasional overtime for events.
Salary: £30,350

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, preferably in a high-end corporate or hotel environment.

They should be outgoing, friendly, and passionate about customer service, maintaining a professional appearance and clear communication skills both face-to-face and over the phone.

Comfort with manual handling is necessary, as the role involves moving furniture and partitions for room setups.
