Safeguarding: New Hall is committed to safeguarding students. An enhanced DBS check will be required prior to appointment.
New Hall is a Catholic independent boarding and day school for girls and boys aged 1-18. The school employs a 'diamond model' of education, where students are co-educational from ages 1 to 11 and in Sixth Form, but taught in single-sex classes from ages 11 to 16. This approach allows tailored pastoral and academic support, reducing peer pressure and gender stereotyping.
The Sixth Form at New Hall aims to broaden students' horizons academically and personally. The school is located on the outskirts of Chelmsford, Essex, just 30 minutes by train from London and close to major airports.
As a Catholic school, New Hall strives to educate the whole person—academically, creatively, socially, and spiritually.
