Job Description:

Anniesland Medical Practice is a large, busy, and friendly training practice in North West Glasgow.

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join our team.

This vacancy is 18 hours a week, with shifts on Monday and Friday from 8.30 am to 6 pm, with the potential for more hours in the future.

Salary scale ranges from £23,645 per annum (£12.25 per hour) to £26,092 per annum (£13.52 per hour). The starting salary will depend on experience.

Benefits include bank holidays and weekends off, a generous holiday allowance, and optional entry into the NHS pension scheme.

This role requires excellent communication and IT skills, previous experience in a fast-paced patient or customer-facing role, the ability to work under pressure, adapt to busy and unpredictable situations, and uphold patient confidentiality at all times. Multi-tasking in a dynamic environment is essential.

Experience in a GP or healthcare setting and familiarity with GP computer systems (EMIS and Docman) is desirable, but full training will be provided to the right candidate.
