Location: Havant
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00am3:00pm; Friday, 8:00am12:00pm
Interviews: Week commencing 23rd June
Start Date: 30th June

A friendly, family-run engineering business in Havant is looking for a confident and proactive individual to join their small team in a varied front-of-house and administrative role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the heart of a business and thrives in a warm, welcoming workplace.

Please note: The core working hours are fixed and non-negotiable. However, we are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to support with additional hours occasionally, depending on workload and business needs.

The Role

As the face of the company, you'll be the first point of contact for visitors and callers while providing essential admin support to the wider team. Key responsibilities include:

Welcoming visitors, managing the reception area, and preparing refreshments

Handling incoming calls and messages, including via tannoy to contact workshop staff

Processing orders and documentation using SAGE (experience preferred)

Scanning and emailing documents to suppliers and customers

Supporting the workshop with follow-ups, paperwork, and general admin

Assisting colleagues with other administrative tasks as needed

The Person

We're looking for someone who is:

Warm, approachable, and confident with people

Comfortable taking initiative and working as part of a small, close-knit team

Organised and detail-focused, especially when handling numbers and part codes

Familiar with or happy to learn SAGE or similar systems

Flexible and dependable, with a willingness to take on additional hours if needed

Down-to-earth and comfortable working in a relaxed, informal environment where friendly chat and good humour are part of the day
