Overview

We are looking for a new team member to join our reception team and help us deliver high quality customer service to our patients, both face to face and via the telephone.

Details

The vacancy is for 28 hours weekly to be worked across 5 days between the hours of 8:30am and 6pm. There will be a regular working pattern but some flexibility to cover holiday and sickness would be expected. If you are passionate about patient care and would like to work on the frontline of the NHS apply today. We offer an NHS pension and generous holiday allowance. Rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience.

About us

Crossfell Health Centre is a busy family surgery in Middlesbrough serving approx. 9000 patients. Our team currently comprises of 3 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GP, an experienced nursing team and over 25 skilled administrative staff providing support to both our patients and clinical team.

Job responsibilities

You will be a key player on the front line for the surgery, talking to patients, finding out their needs and helping them access appropriate medical services, dealing with appointments, prescription requests and general administrative tasks.

Experience
  • Experience of working in GP Practice (essential)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be able to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast moving environment
  • Have a friendly and understanding approach when dealing with staff and patients
  • Have strong IT skills (SystmOne) and call handling experience
  • Bring a positive can-do attitude to the table
  • At least 1 year of working in General Practice
