Job Description

We want you to #JOINTHEREBELLION! For 30 years, Rebellion has been independently developing and publishing incredible video games across multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley. Rebellion is also involved in film, board games, books, and comics such as Judge Dredd.

We are seeking a Senior Game Designer to join our talented team, contributing to our diverse portfolio of video games across genres. The Design team handles creating and maintaining games from concept to release, working closely with artists and programmers to implement engaging gameplay and mechanics.

As a Senior Game Designer, you will be involved in all development stages, from ideation and prototyping to final polishing. Responsibilities include creating design documentation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with creative vision, and maintaining game setups. We promote growth and learning, encouraging skill development and mentorship. The role can be based in Oxford, Warwick, or Runcorn, offering flexibility.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a Game Designer in the video game industry.
• Strong understanding of game design principles and methodologies.
• Experience with creating game design documentation and gameplay prototypes.
• Knowledge of the game development lifecycle and production pipelines.
