SUMMARY OF POSITION

Kinsley is seeking a motivated and dependable Rebar Shop Fabricator to join our growing team in our Materials Division in our York, PA rebar fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and feel at ease working with machinery.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ability to operate overhead cranes.
• Capable of working on elevated trailers to unload materials and apply proper rigging techniques as necessary.
• Assist workstations with material handling.
• Operate shearing and bending equipment.
• Assemble and load fabricated materials onto elevated trailers.
• Maintain work areas clean and neat.
• Willingness to perform additional duties as required.
  

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• minimum of 2 years of experience.
• A valid drivers license is mandatory.
• Proficiency in basic math skills including counting and measuring.
• Capability to engage in physical activities such as bending and lifting.
• Adaptability to work in a shop environment, even under unfavorable conditions such as noise, dust, heat, or cold.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn OSHA safety regulations.
• Previous experience in a shop environment is strongly .
• Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, as necessary.
