Job summary

Rebellion seeks a Lead VFX Artist to shape real-time visual effects across projects. You will guide a team across the VFX pipeline in our Oxford, Warwick or Runcorn studios, delivering industry-leading effects and mentoring artists to grow.

This role involves defining technical direction, collaborating with art, design and engineering, and ensuring VFX aligns with gameplay and narrative goals while balancing performance budgets.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in real-time VFX across titles.
• Proven leadership of VFX teams and mentorship.
• Ability to align VFX with gameplay and narrative.
• Strong communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Experience with project planning, source control, and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver VFX at scale within budgets.

Responsibilities

• Define creative vision and technical direction for real-time VFX.
• Lead and mentor the VFX team to maintain high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with art, design, and engineering to align VFX with gameplay goals.
