Rebellion is seeking a Lead VFX Artist to lead a growing VFX team across an upcoming project at early development stages. You will set the technical direction for real-time visuals, mentor artists, and ensure VFX aligns with gameplay and narrative while balancing performance budgets.
The role offers placement at our Oxford, Warwick or Runcorn studios with relocation support and a flexible, collaborative environment in a world-class team.

For 30 years we’ve been creating incredible video games at our multiple studios, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film and mo-cap studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.
We are on the lookout for a Lead VFX Artist to join our passionate and growing VFX team to work on an upcoming unannounced project at the early stages of development.
The VFX team is responsible for all visual effects developed in Rebellions games. Not only particle effects, but screen post effects, material effects, mesh destruction effects and UI effects developed in Rebellions propriety engine “Asura”.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping project‑specific processes and delivering industry‑leading VFX for exciting new titles, giving you a direct influence on the construction and pipeline requirements.

This position can be based out of any of our studios in Oxford, Warwick or Runcorn, offering flexibility, collaboration, and the chance to work with a world‑class team!
