Job summary

Bright Purple Resourcing Ltd in London or Edinburgh seeks an AI-first Software Engineer to join a core product team. You will own a powerful, real-time data engine and build backend services using C#, .NET and Azure while embracing AI-powered development approaches.

You will contribute to architecture, drive performance and scalability, and stay hands-on through the full lifecycle. A strong background in trading platforms, Agile, Git and Azure DevOps is highly valued.

Qualifications

Strong C# and .NET expertise
Solid database experience
Experience with AI-assisted coding tools
Background in trading platforms
Familiarity with Agile environments and code reviews
Git and Azure DevOps knowledge
Strong communicator

Responsibilities

Drive evolution of the platform's architecture to improve performance, scalability and resilience
Own technical design decisions while remaining hands-on through the full development lifecycle
Champion engineering best practices, clean structure, testability and documentation
Support cloud operations across Microsoft Azure, including App Services, CI/CD pipelines and Azure Front Door
Stay ahead of emerging tools and techniques, including AI-assisted workflows
