Job summary

Thames Water is recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join the Renewals and Logistics team at Didcot, Oxfordshire. You will handle stock, picking, packing and ensure safe, timely loading for dispatch with real-time visibility. This 13-week assignment, 36 hours per week, runs Monday to Friday and starts ASAP.

The role is based on site at Thames Water via Pertemps. Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence and warehouse experience; basic numeracy and English are required, with forklift and

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Warehouse experience.
• Basic numeracy and conversational English.
• Forklift licence (desirable).
• Working knowledge of SAP Warehouse Management and RFID technology (preferable).

Responsibilities

• Reflect real-time stock levels in distribution centres.
• Receive, pick and pack materials.
• Progress goods in and out of areas.
• Ensure vehicles are loaded on time.
• Comply with stock management governance.
• Provide support during operational incidents.
• Maintain safe handling of vehicles/FLTs and fuel usage.
• Report vehicle defects and document them.
• Ensure health & safety requirements are met.
